The Iowa Biotechnology Association (IowaBio) has named Central Lee High School sophomore, Aaron Wills of Donnellson, as the winner of the 2016 Iowa BioGENEius Challenge, the premier competition for high school students that recognizes outstanding research and innovation in the biotechnology field.

The Iowa Biotech Association (IowaBio) today announced they are introducing The BioGENEius Challenge to Iowa, a premier competition for high school students that recognizes outstanding research and innovation in the biotechnology field. The local Iowa BioGENEius Challenge will take place on March 31st during the State Science and Technology Fair of Iowa (SSTFI) held on Iowa State University’s campus. The projects considered will represent a range of biotechnology topics such as healthcare, agriculture, and the environment.
