Nominations for the Iowa Biotech Leader Award will be taken on this page January 18 - February 5, 2021. The awardee is announced and presented during IBSC on Wednesday, March 3. Ideal candidates for this award include individuals who demonstrate the following traits and commitment to advancing Iowa’s biotech industry:

2019: Dr. Michael Abramoff, CEO & Founder of IDx
2018: Robert G. Riley Jr., Owner of Corn Oil One
2017: Dr. John Swart, CEO & President of Exemplar Genetics
The Iowa Biotech Leader Award recipient will be determined by a committee of individuals with roles in Iowa’s biotechnology industry. Staff members from IowaBio and the award sponsor will provide administrative guidance to the Committee in their selection process.
