Round-Table with Congressman Loebsack
On August 10, 2012, IBA and the University of Iowa co-hosted a meeting with Congressman Loebsack at the BioVentures Center in Coralville, Iowa. The meeting offered an opportunity for Iowa's healthcare and pharmaceutical companies in the biotech industry to introduce themselves to Congressman Loebsack and express their companies' products, services, and needs. The meeting offered a "round table" discussion setting that provided everyone a chance to brainstorm ideas that would help Iowa grow as a leader in the industry. A luncheon and tour of the facility were offered after the meeting for all attendees.
